Welcome to our adventures, I hope you follow along!
We are a family of four red heads...scary!! We hope to eventually buy a home with land, have a hobby farm, learn some traditional skills. I'm currently most interested in Waldorf education, sewing, needle felting, and reading other blogs :) I also enjoy talking about things that are a bit out of the box...vaccinations (or not), traditional foods, natural/alternative medicine and I'm sure much more. I tend to get a wild hair and run with it for awhile and then fizzle out and move on to the next thing. Probably adult ADD or something, just try and keep up!
We have recently moved back to the East Coast to be closer to family. Somethings are just how I remember them, others are not. People seem to talk funny here. When I listen to the radio I have to decipher what they are saying. Though I love hearing "wicked" everywhere I go. We have moved from a bustling city to a small town. I'm used to the library we used to have....3 of them in the city, open all hours of the day. Now, our library is located in the local firestation....open 7 hours a week.
It's been an adjustment, but we are settling in nicely. Everyday life remains almost the same. Get up, get things going, get kids ready, take 20 minutes to get all of our junk in the car. Work all day, pick up kids. Come home too tired to care what we eat. Rinse and repeat.
I am loving how much more the girls are taking things in. An acorn, the color of the leaves, playing out in the rain. They are attending the local Waldorf school. It is such a completely amazing place. Basically, I would live there if I could. Calming, organized, happy, soothing.
Ok there's a quick snapshot......more to come!
